restart at ohbc
We are very excited to RESTART our worship service at The Center, Sunday’s at 10:30 a.m. Beginning May 31, our Small Groups and full worship schedule will resume. This guide will help you “restart” in the most effective way.
Let’s get started
• We are encouraging our vulnerable or “at risk” population to worship with us online at ohbc.org. Vulnerable or “at risk populations” are those defined as 65+, those with chronic lung disease, moderate to severe asthma, chronic heart disease, severe obesity, diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease or a weakened immune system.
• While on campus, all attendees will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
• A few reasons you may not be able to worship with us in person due to COVID-19: if you exhibit symptoms at the screening area, if you do not have a mask, or if our attendance exceeds the state’s occupancy limit.
CHECK-IN
When you arrive at The Center, wearing your mask, look for the screening area signage for a quick temperature check and health assessment. After entering the building, head to a hand washing station for a 20 second hand wash and you’re all set for worship! Please note, our restrooms will be continually monitored and sanitized after each use. We’ll also have a medical professional at or near the screening area and a uniformed officer on campus during worship.
Sadly, there will be no coffee/refreshments served at this time. Bottled water will be available as needed.
attendance
As you head into worship, staff members will greet you and seat you as we continue all aspects of social distancing. Families will be seated together with two-three chair spacing in between others. Chairs and key contact points will be sanitized weekly. Children will remain with their parents and family members at all times until further notice.
giving
We are so grateful for your continued support and generosity to the OHBC ministries during this global pandemic. Our online giving resource and offering boxes at The Center are a great way to give with zero human contact!
exit strategy
Following the service, we will continue to practice social distancing as we exit in small groups. Again, staff members will assist you as we strive to have no physical contact with anyone. All doors will be propped open to encourage zero contact with surfaces. Please keep in mind, as much as we would love to hug you all, staying distant at this time is our top priority so that you remain healthy and effective for Christ.
reminders
• Please remember to practice respiratory etiquette and cough or sneeze into a tissue or the bend of your arm.
• Water fountains will be closed and off limits. Bottled water will be available as needed.
