OHBC Students
If you love Jesus, middle and high school students, and having a lot of fun, then serving with OHBC Students is the place for you. Our Student ministry hosts activities and services throughout the week, and has a variety of volunteer opportunities available.
OHBC Kids
Oakland Heights Baptist Church has designed a space for kids to learn about Jesus in a way that is right for them. You can serve with OHBC Kids every other week, as a fill-in based on your availability, or every week to provide consistency for kids that live inconsistent lives.
hello team
Volunteers on the Hello Team specialize in hospitality, helping people feel like they belong at Oakland Heights Baptist Church. From the moment a person steps onto a campus until the time they leave, the Hello Team makes people feel welcomed. These teams offer opportunities to serve before, during, and after our Sunday service.
Worship Team
The desire of our Worship Ministry is to provide musical and spiritual training and support for anyone desiring to use their musical gifts and talents in service to Christ through ministry to others. The Music and Worship Team provides spirit-led leadership in God-honoring corporate worship. "Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." There are several opportunities for you to serve through the Worship Ministry
Tech Team
Tech Team volunteers help deliver an excellent, distraction-free service environment. If you’re creative, intuitive, hard-working, and have a passion for visual excellence and details, working behind the scenes with the Tech Team might be your next step. There are spots to volunteer at every service, or our morning or afternoon services only.
