Queen For A Day- One Day Can Make a Difference
Saturday, September 20 at 9 a.m. at OHBC
Queen For A Day is a day of loving on a special group of women who are experiencing great difficulties in their life and have a great need. The QFAD ministry team treats these women to an incredibly special day including facials, manicures, haircuts, a delicious meal, and much more.
Ladies, join us for a fun night out with your neighbors at OHBC on Thursday, May 1, at 6 p.m. You don’t want to miss this night of fabulous food and fellowship!
Luke: Gut-Level Compassion by Lisa Harper - Women’s Bible Study will start Sunday, February 23 at 5 p.m. in Room 101
Many of us believe that we aren't good enough to meet other people's expectations. Maybe you can't wrap words around why, but lurking beneath the surface of the carefully curated façade you present in public, it's there. Being missed and marginalized by others moves us to assume we're not quite good enough for God either.
The great news woven throughout the Gospel according to Luke is that perfection is not a prerequisite for a deep and personal relationship with Jesus. In fact, this riveting account reveals that Jesus is especially fond of ragamuffins in need of a safe place to lean in and linger! Join us as in this Bible study that doesn't celebrate the elite, but embraces the outliers, outcasts, and overlooked!

As believers, we are called to live like Jesus and find rest in Him. But we can't live like Jesus if we don't really know how He lived during His time on earth. And we’ll never feel comfortable coming to Him with our troubles if we don’t truly understand what a trustworthy, safe place He is for us. We are diving into 30 significant moments of His life and ministry in our new study so that we can become better friends with our Savior. When we are worn down and need hope, the Gospels remind us He is close. He is not a far-off and distant figure in history; He became a very real human so we might know Him today and learn to live by His example.
